Note

Early Life: Calvin was born August 7, 1931, in Ephraim, Utah, to Loyal Erastus and Alta Olivia Domgaard Rasmussen. He spent his early years learning a good work ethic. He graduated from Snow High School. Life's Work/Service/Interests: He married his best friend and sweetheart, Lois L. Livingston, September 10, 1951, in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. He always said, “The best decision I ever made.” They are the parents of five children: Steven L. (de ceased), Michael Ray, Jeffrey D., Gregory C. and Kathy Ann. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he held many callings. He especially enjoyed home teaching with his good companion and friend, Tom Bendall. Calvi n served his country in the United States Army Active Reserve for nine and a half years, and is a member of the American Legion. He graduated from Snow College, Utah State University and University of Utah with an MSW (Master of Social Work) . He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, honorary Scholastic Fraternity, and National Association of Social Workers. As a Clinical Social Worker, he designed and implemented a treatment plan for children with behavioral problems. First at Utah State Hos pital in Provo, Utah, and then at Primary Children’s Medical Center, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he became COO of Psychiatry. He specialized in treatment of children and families. He loved working with them and was an outstanding therapist . He is known for his beautiful yard, which he loved, and could be found there from early morning until late at night. Always one to have a humorous comment, and having a great sense of humor, he enjoyed a good laugh. He loved sports, both as a pl ayer and as a spectator, and could be seen pacing the sidelines of the ball field, watching his sons play ball. He was a great supporter of anything involving his children and grandchildren. Most important to him was his family; he loved them dear ly with his whole heart, as well as the teachings of the Gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
