Pauline was born to Albert and Lena Hass on July 7, 1927, on the family farm near Bowbells, N.D. She married Ivan N. Pedersen November 13, 1945, in Plentywood, Montana. She and Ivan raised their three children on the family farm near Flaxton. Sinc e the fall of 2010, Pauline had been a resident of Manorcare in Minot.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Ivan N. Pedersen, rural Flaxton, and their children Linda (Larry) Anderson, Des Lacs, N.D.; Steven (Corrine Krueger) Pedersen, Minot, N.D.; and Karen (LeRoy) Bachmeier, New Hope, Minnesota. Grandsons Travis Bach meier and Ryan Bachmeier and great-grandchildren Blake and Anna Bachmeier, all of Minneapolis, also survive. Close friends and caretakers were Pam and Greg Mertes of Bowbells. Pauline is also survived by her sister Helen Steffen, Fargo, N.D., he r brother Vic (Margie) Hass, Minot, N.D., and her sister-in-law Eva Hass, Kenmare, N.D. She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Neils and Margrethe Pedersen, her brothers Alvin (Alice), Bennie and Raymond Hass and her brother-in-law Francis Steffen.

Visitation: There will be no reviewal, however, friends may sign a guest register on Monday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial Service: Monday, June 4, 2012, at 2 pm at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare, ND

Burial: Bowbells Cemetery, Bowbells, ND
