Note | arry H. Burnside passed away at the age of 79, peacefully, October 8, 2018 after an extensive illness of congestive heart failure. Larry was born June 4, 1939 on a farm in Mountainville, Sanpete County Utah to Harry Burnside and LaRue Anderson Burnside. He was the 3rd of 4 children. He married Marjorie Howell Burnside on October 5, 1961 in the Manti Temple. They were blesse d with 5 children. He was a man of great faith with a deep love for our Savior. During his life, he served in many church capacities. He served a mission in the Fiji Islands. He and Marjorie also served as guest service missionaries on Temple Square. Hewas a gentl e soul who showed love for all people he came in contact with. He had a delightful sense of humor and was a great storyteller. He loved to sing, garden, fish and hunt. He was a great provider and handyman. He worked in refrigeration and late r as an HVAC Specialist. He worked at Signetics and Utah Valley University. He was a loving patriarch to his family, and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served his family and left a lasting legacy of goodness and love to his posterity. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie Howell Burnside, his children, Ed Burnside (Kathryn), Jodi Christensen (Dennis), Heidi Gurney (Wesley), Tori Carter (Jeffery), Matt Burnside (Kristy); 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister s Jean Burnside Johnson, Joan Burnside Hosler and Marieanne Burnside Sample. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10:00 am in the American Fork 20th Ward Chapel located at 825 East 500 North, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Warenski Funera l Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah and also at an additional viewing on Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30 am prior to services.
