Worked at a state hospital for the mentally ill for 32 years. Julehilsen 12/12 06: I have moved from my old address of 3606 Parklane Drive to the assisted living quarters known as the Kensington Assisted living Residence here in Hastings. My cou sin Wilbur Jorgensen fell and broke his hip in September also. He is 92 years old. and my sister, Viriginia Christensen had her 90th birthday on the 6th of November. In music I still my active. No piano students at the moment. Playing in th e Symphony - 45 years. Playing the organ in church - 28 years plus; senior dance band - 11 years. and I am playing on Saturday evenings playing at the Kensingston. - (ny mail 16/12 08): In Music I have retired from the symphony afte r 47 years. The last concert I play in was the first concert they had in September and I was given a large applause of thandks . This christmas eve I will have played for church services for 31 years. I do not give piano lessons any mor e also. In family matters I still am working on my family history. If any thing should happen to me I am leaving my work I have done to the Danish Immigrant Musueum at Elk Horn, Iowa.
