She was born December 22, 1920, in Monroe, Utah to Joseph Martin Elijah and Caroline Marie Jensen. She married Ivan Earl Mills, October 7, 1938 in Elsinore, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

Weitta spent most of her life as a full time homemaker. She loved taking care of her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She worked for Pacific Trails Co mpany as a seamstress for many years where she made many life long friends. She was a life long member of the LDS Church where she has served faithfully in many callings. In 1984 she and Ivan served in the Phoenix Arizona LDS Mission. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Richfield Care Center for taking superior care of Weitta during her stay there. They would like to especially thank Martha Irogoyen for her compassion and cheerfulness with our mother.

Weitta is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ivan; son, Ronald (Loraine) Mills, Sevier; daughters: Margie Rich, Monroe, and Penny (Blake) Walbeck, Richfield; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law , Sussie Bohman Jensen, Monroe. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brother: Mildred Bohman, Ardell Swindle, Lee Jensen, and Elsie DeMille.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 1st Ward Chapel, (49 E 200N). Interment will be in the Joseph Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
